October 10, 2024Villa Madonna Enters Strategic Partnership with Springer Diagnostic Center
October 25, 2024Springer is proud to announce a transformative $11 million donation, the largest in its history, generously pledged by Harry and Linda Fath in honor of their late daughter, Lisa Fath Ray. This extraordinary gift is dedicated exclusively to student scholarships, greatly enhancing Springer’s ability to deliver direct, multi-sensory instruction to students who would otherwise be unable to attend due to financial barriers.
Springer President Brett Marcoux shares more about the family and the meaning of the gift, stating:
Lisa’s warmth and joy could truly light up a room, and we are so grateful to have been able to cross paths with her on her journey. Lisa and her entire family deeply understand the value of a Springer education. With this gift in her honor, Harry and Linda Fath have cemented the strongest foundation for financial aid in Springer’s history. For that the entire Springer community will forever be grateful.
Lisa Fath Ray was passionate about her children's education and believed deeply in the impact of Springer’s learning environment. Through the substantial gift made in her honor, the Faths hope to highlight the essential role Springer plays in the region. They aim to inspire others to support Springer in its mission to empower students who struggle with learning in traditional classroom settings due to the impact of dyslexia and ADHD.
The timing of this generous gift is particularly impactful, as it allows Springer to extend scholarship funds to students at the high school level, where enrollment is growing. Springer is currently in the process of identifying a suitable location for the newly initiated high school.
Harry and Linda Fath hope their gift will inspire further contributions toward the development of the Springer High School campus. This new campus will be the first in the tristate region exclusively dedicated to serving young people with ADHD, dyslexia, and executive function challenges, marking a significant milestone for education in our region. Springer is grateful to the Fath family for their generous commitment to the future of Springer and for shining a light on the work that remains to better support children with learning differences.
