Some of those who support Springer's work have learning disabilities, but most do not.
A Springer Celebration! 2014 attempted to simulate the experience and evoke some of the emotions that can accompany a learning disability. However, no one can say what it feels like to have a learning disability except a person who has a learning disability.
We spoke with children who are struggling to learn and attended the center’s Adventures in Summer Learning program, and we heard from students upon their commencement from Springer’s day school. We wanted to hear first hand from those who know… What is it like to have a learning disability?
