The school year is more than halfway through now and students and teachers are still moving forward like the persistent tortoise running the long race.
Valentine’s Day was the perfect occasion to thank and appreciate each person’s contributions. This includes, of course, students, who show up both vulnerable and brave to face each day of learning. (At Springer we even call it Student Appreciation Day!)
This week, be sure to thank your children, your students and those around you for what they add to your life by simply being.
Another reason Valentine's Day was extra special this year ... 200+ professionals, including teachers, therapists, school staff and administrators, packed our new auditorium for a day of learning on Friday. The day featured powerful keynotes by Jared Cooney Horvath, Ph.D. and Ted Lasso inspiration Donnie Campbell. Talk about educators dedicated to their craft! They are empowering young people!
