Springer students are halfway through their annual contributory activity to benefit Inheritance of Hope, a nonprofit helping families of people with serious illness. They host support groups and provide trips to special places and fun activities to help them make lasting memories.
Student council is leading a coin drive for the whole student body, teams and classes competing with one another to raise the most money. Generous parent volunteers are coming to campus to help count the pounds and pounds of coins. Student council homeroom representatives keep their classes updated and help keep enthusiasm high. Seeing two-liter bottles filling up and receiving dollar updates are motivating the whole student body to keep the efforts strong.
Yesterday, students learned the great news that Inheritance of Hope has received an anonymous matching pledge so that every dollar Springer students contribute will be doubled!
Students collections continue through December 16 and during the winter assembly on December 20, funds will be presented to the organization. Follow our progress here!
