Blake Kelmar commenced from Springer in 2002. After leaving Springer, he became the first Eagle Scout in his family. He received a Catalyst for Change award for public speaking as an advocate for people with disabilities and criminal justice reform. Blake graduated from Marshall University in 2016, where he studied journalism, history, and psychology. While attending Marshall, he used some of the strategies he learned at Springer. In his spare time, he likes going to the beach, doing yoga and photography, going to new places, walking his dog, and occasionally going to the gym. Currently, Blake resides in Norfolk, Virginia, blocks away from the beach.
