Staying on top of all the details of 21st-century life can be a challenge. The advent of the computer age has not produced the predicted paperless society. Junk mail, tax records, coupons, passports, receipts – it’s hard to keep it all organized.
If you’re a parent, you can add school work, permission slips, art work, vaccination records, report cards and party invitations. And if you’re the parent of a child with ADHD or a learning disability, you can pile on IEP and/or ETR reports, insurance forms, testing results, evaluations and tutoring schedules.
This year we are pleased, once again, to welcome Lisa K. Woodruff, Springer alumni parent and owner of Organize 365, to share her tips on “Taming the Clutter.” Lisa will provide strategies for organizing and keeping track of the many papers that pass through our hands on a daily basis. If you have ever lost the permission slip for the field trip or are overwhelmed at the prospect of sorting through years of your children’s school papers and art work, this program might be for you! Don’t buy another file cabinet until you have heard Lisa’s suggestions.
Join us for this program for parents on Tuesday, February 12, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm on Springer’s campus. We look forward to learning more easily implemented strategies to address the clutter that is simply part of daily life as a parent.
