A new year brings with it the courage to change, and for some of us that means changing schools for our child so that his academic needs can be better met.
Come check out Springer School and Center on January 28th at the 9:00 a.m. Open House! If your child has a learning disability, this may be the change you are seeking. I recently spent some time with Springer parent Jamie Brocki, and she shared her experience with Springer’s Open House and their decision to send their daughter to Springer.
Why did you attend the open house?
We attended Springer’s open house last year because we were searching for the best path for our daughter, and we knew something had to change. Our neighbors’ son attends Springer, and they always had such a relieved look in their eyes when they talked about the school! We knew we wanted to learn more.
What did you think of Springer?
It was the first time we started to realize that what our daughter needed was an entirely different approach to learning. It wasn’t about how to make her less of a distraction. It’s about what she needs to learn best. Above all, I knew I wanted her to be surrounded by teachers and administrators who appreciated everything she has to offer and wanted to see her succeed.
What were your next steps?
To be honest, our kids were attending public school, so the next step was to adjust to the idea of tuition. We just decided to have faith that it was for the best. And, without a doubt, it has been.
